PTCL’s IVIO Symbol Pro comes with built-in 3G Evo Online access. We have been using the cellphone for a while now and like many others, experienced the concern of CDMA (3G Evo) APN configurations vanishing from the cellphone.
Thanks to our audience, Danyal Manzar, I tried to add the APN configurations again into the cellphone but it just will not preserve. In the end, the only remedy was to check out Airlink Marketing marketing and sales communications workplace in your town and get the cellphone application re-installed, which would also destroy all your set up applications, configurations and game titles from the cellphone storage.
The CDMA APN configurations bug is still there, and the only remedy to fix it is how I have described above. Still, if you think you can add the APN configurations again, we have distributed the standard configurations below:
- Go to Settings > Dual mode settings > CDMA Access Point Names.
- Press the ‘Menu’ key and select “New APN”.
- Now use the following settings:
- Name: PTCL EVO (anything you like)
- APN: #777
- Username: vwireless@ptcl.com (case-sensitive)
- Password: ptcl
- MCC: 410
- MNC: 51
- APN type: default,supl
- Leave the rest of the options as they are.
- Save the settings and if this worked, your PTCL 3G should be enabled again!
